FAMILY : EPITONIIDAE
Epitonium jukesianum (Forbes, 1852)
Found on Brunswick Beach..4mm, variable in height and ribs per whorl.
Below..3 animals, laying eggs and feeding on anemones (Actinia tenebrosa and other species).
Found amongst Galeolaria worm tubes at low tide near base of south sea wall on beach side in
an area that receives heavy wave action. Close inspection of the worm tube beds showed that
animals are often found wherever small anemones are situated.
